Hello, I am Cadet Major Jasiah Ballenger and I am the Cadet Commanding Officer for the 2017-2018 school year. I am the daughter of Jermaine and Sa’Kina Ballenger, and I am a Senior. I am involved in several service-based extracurricular activities such as National Honor Society, Ladies’ First Mentoring Program, Educational Talent Search, Student Advisory Council, Student Government Association, serving as Student Body President, Marine Corp Junior Reserves' Officer Training Corps, serving as Cadet Commanding Officer, and the Varsity Cheerleading team, serving as captain. I am a part of the ECCHO program where I take dual enrollment classes, which affords me the opportunity to earn both Associates of Arts and Science degrees in addition to a high school diploma. I am the recipient of the Comcast Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship, the Coastal Carolina University Scholar Award, the Converse College: Endowed Academic Scholarship, the Wendy's High School Heisman Award, the Clemson University Scholarship, the Columbia College Scholarship, Coker College Scholarship, and the Presbyterian College Fellow Scholarship. After high school, I would like to advance to a post-secondary college or university to obtain a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Political Science, and minoring in Business in the year of 2020. Afterward, I plan to apply for the United States Marine Corps’ (USMC) Officer Candidate program, where I will be trained and commissioned as a Marine Corps Officer. Following Officer Candidate School, I would like to apply to graduate school where I will continue my studies in Political Science with an interest to enter the career field of intel, government, and business.
It is a true honor and privilege to serve as Cadet Commanding Officer of Whale Branch Early College High School’s MCJROTC program, and I look forward to what the year has in store!

Hello, I am Cadet Captain White, and I am the Executive Officer. My job is to deliver what needs to be done to accomplish the mission. I joined the program to be better than my sister who was the previous XO. Throughout my four years in the program, I served in all of the staff billets. I will be graduating with my double associates. After I graduate, I will attend Marine Corps Bootcamp and become a MARINE! While in the marine corps, I plan to get my bachelors in Criminal Justice.
My name is Charles Garner and this is my fourth year being in JROTC. I have achieved the rank of Cadet Sergeant Major within our program. I have recently been accepted to The Citadel in Charleston South Carolina. Some activities I participate in include National Honors Society, Soccer, Principles Ambassadors, JROTC, and the TCL duel enrollment program. My current GPA is a 4.0 and I hope to see many new faces in Whale Branch Early College High School’s JROTC.
